Indonesian Curry : Stir-fried Crab with Pineapple


Ingredients A

  • 1kg flower crab
  • 300g pineapple cubes

Ingredients B

  • 1 stalk torch ginger
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • 4 slices ginger

Ingredients C

Ingredients D

  • 200ml thick coconut milk
  • Salt, to taste


Method for Cooking Stir-fried Crab with Pineapple:

  1. Stir-fry Ingredients B and C until fragrant, add in Ingredients A, stir-fry well. Cover the pot and braise until well-cooked.
  2. Remove the lid, add in Ingredients D and stir evenly, remove and serve with toasted bread.

Tip:

Cook the crabs until well-cooked in one attempt, otherwise the crab meat will turn soggy.
