Malaysian Curry : Egg Bomb Sambal Bean Curd


Ingredients A

  • 5 hard-boiled eggs
  • 5 pieces fried bean curd
  • 2 tablespoons fried dried shrimps
  • 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fried shallots slices

Ingredients B

Ingredients C

  • 50g bangkuang (shredded)
  • 50g cucumber (shredded)
  • 50g carrot (shredded)


Method for Cooking Egg Bomb Sambal Bean Curd:

  1. Cut a few lines on hard-boiled eggs, deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  2. Put ingredients B into pot, stir-fry well and add in ½ cup of water.
  3. Add in fried eggs and fried bean curd, stir well and put in Ingredients C.
  4. Sprinkle top with dried shrimps, peanuts and fried shallots slices.

Tip:

The surface of fried egg is coarse to allow absorption of sambal ingredients.
